Flagstaff was our homebase while we toured around Arizona over Memorial Day weekend. We found another amazing rental through one of our favorite providers, AirBnb. We loved how quaint the city is and how dog friendly most of the businesses were. Everyone was so friendly and we loved how we were a 90 minute drive away from the Grand Canyon and 70 minutes away from Sedona.
Below are images from our stay….keep scrolling since we have notes below.

Our favorite place to eat brunch was at Mix inside the Old Town Shops. Food was fresh and there is a lovely outdoor patio to sit at.
Right after brunch, we did some shopping inside. And yes – we were able to take the pups inside with us! Such a win in our book!!
Outside of our AirBnb rental was the Coconino National Forest. It was literally our backyard for the weekend. We hiked around the area and saw many people mountain biking through.
Overall, Flagstaff is an awesome city that we’d love to explore more in the future. We wouldn’t hesitate to bring Bessie here once again because of how dog friendly the town is. Because Flagstaff is higher in elevation, the weather was much cooler than other cities in the state – so consider bringing a light jacket and some jeans on your trip to keep warm.
